More and more rumors have appeared that the cell phone numbers will be made public. But is this what we want? Of course it isn’t. The main reason why we’ve even bought the cell phone was that no one could find our cell phone number. We’ve bought them for the privacy that the landline phones couldn’t offer us. Remember how easy it is finding a landline phone numbers. Everybody has access to all, well, almost all the landline phone numbers, because some of them are unlisted. We all have at home one such phonebook which we access it every time we want to find a landline phone number.

But let’s try finding an answer. Cell Phone Numbers will be Made Public? Will all be made public? We all know we have access to some cell phone numbers but not to all cell phone numbers. Cell phone numbers are made public every day. People make them public from different reasons. The majority publishes them because they don’t have other option. How else would people contact them if they don’t have their cell phone numbers, so they post them online where people can find them? Cell phones numbers are made public but not all of them, just some of them and they are made public just with the owner’s consent.

Many people post online personal information like a cell phone number because they don’t have other option. They post it online because maybe they want to sell something like a cell phone, car or others objects. How else could possible buyers contact them if they don’t post online this information? They couldn’t so; they post their cell phone numbers in order to be contacted by different people.

Well, one can easily access the online phone directories which have registered cell phone numbers only with the subscriber’s consent. It’s an easy process. Cell phone numbers are made public but just with the subscriber’s consent otherwise no one can find a cell phone number which wasn’t made public; at least not by accessing these online phone directories.

No one likes the idea of Cell Phones Numbers being Made Public without the owner’s consent. There are many cases of cell phone numbers which were made public but there were made public with the owner’s consent. We want privacy that’s why we even have cell phones, because they offer us the privacy a landline phone couldn’t offer us. I personally don’t approve those who post online personal information. What could happen if a lunatic finds out your cell phone numbers and starts harassing you? I bet you wouldn’t like this to happen. No one would like it. Who would possibly like receiving calls from total strangers?
