Blocking Phone Numbers

We are living incredible times. From all points of view. These days we are able to do almost everything we wish for if we can afford it.And if we can’t, most of us will find a way to be able to afford it. These years have brought us allot on inovative technology throughout different branches and it’s amazing how we can’t even seem to close our eyes over the night without waking up to something brand new in the morning.

Just take the phone industry as an example. It took this particular industry a little bit under two decades to go from the first mobile phone prototype to multiple function and choices in mobile phones with so many applications that you don’t even know what to choose from anymore. Cell phones today have such a wide range of applications and functions that it’s starting to become difficult to set your alarm clock on your cell phone only because you don’t know which tune to choose as your wake-up call. And what about the contact list over in your cell phone? If before it was just about “add” , “modifiy” and “delete”, now you can assign a different tune to every contact you haveadded to your list if you really want to. So if your boss calls and you don’t want to answer, you’ll just “screen” the call. But between the many different options and features there still are some questions that remain unanswered. For example, how does the blocking phone numbers options work? I mean for starters, is it out there? Has someone ever performed it? And if yes, then how does it actually work? Oh please do share some knowledge because I do believe that the blocking phone numbers option is one of the most valuable cell phone ( and why not even phone?) options out there.

Why am I so interested in this particular option? Because especially nowadays it can turn out to be necessary as your phone number can arrive into the hands of some complete strangers or simply because you have the interest of some people never having the possibility to call you again. To block someone’s number doesn’t have to automatically mean that you are a much too cautionary person who wants to alienate people.

Someone who hasn’t been through these types of problems will not be able to understand that there really are some very realistic dangers regarding complete strangers being able to have access to your cell phone or phone number.

From the many different possibilities technology offer us today, safeshould be mandatory. Because evolution means taking care of one another. Because the “tomorrow” we are building has to be a better one.
