Cell phones need phone numbers. Everyone has a phone number that they can be reached on. There are home phone numbers that have other numbers in them and there are cell phone numbers. Many people when going to pick a cell phone and also a phone number choose the one that is easier to remember. A phone number contains the information necessary to identify the unique possessor of the phone number. Back in the days phone numbers were made out of two or three numbers and were used to call relatives and neighbours. Because the technology and the requests have tripled nowadays each phone number is made of nine or seven numbers. Special services like police, emergency or hospital have short numbers like 911 or 112.

Each area has a certain local code that needs  to be inserted before dialling the actual number you want to call. These numbers are used to recognise each area in your country. Also each country has a special code : for example Italy has 0039 before actually inserting the phone number. Phone numbers can also be organised in special dialling services with special codes especially in big firms. For example internal lines can be used to reach certain people in their offices by just dialling a code like 435 for Mr James. Phone numbers can be changed as many times as a person wants to.Without a phone number you can`t reach a person nowadays, so those that don`t have phones practically don`t exist and are unreachable.

Phone numbers are like call id`s. People usually choose the most easy ones to memorize. Nowadays everyone has a cell phone. Because there are many networks that allow you to call, people have bought up to three phones, each one with a different network . This means three phone numbers. Every network has diferent code numbers that are inserted before actually introducing a certain phone number. Techology nowadays allows us to do anything we want through little gadgets. A person has many options on the cell phone , one of these options is being able to call another person without showing your phone number. Calling with private, has become very popular among those that don`t want to speard around their number. In the end, having a phone and a phone number can only help you communicate with others.
